TripShock Partner Payment Guide
At TripShock, we believe in transparency and consistency when it comes to partner payments. This guide outlines how payments are processed, when to expect them, and what you need to do to ensure there are no delays.
Below is a list of common questions that arise regarding the payment cycle. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to our dedicated AccountsTeam at [email protected].

How and When You Get Paid
1. Payment Platform: Bill.com
TripShock uses Bill.com, a secure, third-party accounts payable platform, to process all partner payments via direct deposit.
- A Bill.com account is required to receive payments.
- Partners will be invited to set up their account via a Bill.com invitation from TripShock.
- Please do not create an account independently, as this may interfere with our ability to connect you correctly as a vendor.
- TripShock does not issue paper checks or alternative payment methods.
2. Payment Amounts & Commission
- You will be paid the net amount, which reflects the total for completed bookings minus TripShock’s commission.
- Remittance details will reflect the bookings included in each payout, along with any applicable adjustments for cancellations, modifications, or refunds.
- You can find this payout breakdown by logging into the TripShock Partner App. These details are not available within Bill.com.
3. Payment Timing & Reconciliation
TripShock reconciles completed trips on a monthly cycle:
- Trips completed in Month A are typically reconciled and paid out by the first two weeks of Month B.
- Example: A trip completed on August 14 would generally be paid by mid-September.
4. Minimum Payment Threshold & Combined Payouts
To streamline payment operations, TripShock may combine smaller balances into the next reconciliation cycle:
- If the total amount owed is under $500–$600, it may be rolled into the following month’s payout.
- This batching method ensures efficiency and helps minimize administrative delays.
5. Possible Payment Delays
Although we make every effort to issue timely payments, delays can occasionally occur due to:
- Bank holidays or federal closures
- Bill.com processing times or technical delays outside of TripShock’s control
- Missing or outdated account information (e.g., banking details or email)
TripShock is not liable for payment delays caused by third-party platforms, banking institutions, or the failure of partners to maintain accurate account information.
6. Managing Your Bill.com Account
Once your Bill.com account is created and active:
- TripShock no longer manages, monitors, or audits your Bill.com account unless requested by the partner.
- We do not have access to your banking details and cannot make updates or changes on your behalf.
- This protects your data privacy and ensures compliance with security best practices.
If your contact information changes (email address, business name, etc.):
- You must update the information in your Bill.com dashboard, and
- Notify our Support Team so your TripShock records stay aligned.
TripShock Support is available in three ways:
- Phone: 850-424-5125 (Option 3)
- Email: [email protected]
