| November 11, 2017 | 2 Min Read

TripShock is poised to continue its forward momentum from 2017 into 2018 and that means new ideas, new intitiatives, and fresh faces. Two of the freshest faces aboard the ship are Ryan Turner and Daniel Woods, both hired in the fall of 2017. Both men are based out of Austin, TX.

Ryan Turner, VP of Product Development: Cofounder of Glad to Have You and then Senior Product Manager at HomeAway, Ryan brings a wealth of travel and hospitality software experience to TripShock.  A serial entrepreneur, Mr. Turner also owns an Austin-based tour company called YourBikerGang.com – helping him better understand the needs of TripShock partners and operators. Ryan will assume the role of Vice President of Product where he will concentrate his efforts on a long list of technical initiatives, workflow tools, and business strategy. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys conquering DIY projects and spending quality time with his wife and two children.

Daniel Woods, Content Coordinator: Dan serves TripShock as a travel writer, developer, and content strategist. Among other projects, Mr. Woods will be tasked with growing TripShock’s social audience. Before joining the company, Mr. Woods served California’s Environmental Protection Agency as a process engineer and policy analyst. Dan is also an active real estate investor and cofounder of the digital marketing agency Vincent James Marketing, LLC. Born and raised in Michigan, Dan loves to watch Detroit-based sports teams, play disc golf, and explore the Great Outdoors.
