“The weather was great, the people were so nice and friendly. We felt right at home. They let us bring drinks and food on board. We were given a quick tutorial on how to bait the hook, drop the line, and reel it in. My husband caught 6 and I caught 1, lol. The only bad thing I can say is I hate that it came to an end so soon, when I was finally getting the hang of it. Oh, and the bathroom was terrible, but it’s a fishing boat, you know? It was really an awesome experience. We’re planning the next trip already.“
“Our trip started off with dancing peacocks! We had never seen them dance in person and it was so beautiful to watch. We learned that the park rescues and re-releases animals back into the wild after they are rehabilitated. So all of the animals at the park are only there because they could not survive on their own or there because they chose to stay on the grounds despite not being caged.
The plants were incredible and the champion trees (the largest of their kind in Florida) were amazing. There is so much to see and take in at every turn! Its location just outside Miami is very convenient and when you are on the grounds you feel like you are a million miles away from city life.“
