Hey y’all, it’s been almost a year since the last time we hung out at the Watersport Forum 2021 (Gosh, can you believe that?!). Anyways, because the watersport tour operators who joined us last year found the event very beneficial for growing their activity businesses, we decided to host it again this year. In this blog, we’re going to dive right in to learn more about the Watersport Forum 2022 in Orlando, FL, September 26-27, 2022, and why you should hurry up and snag tickets for you and your crew members!

What is the Watersports Forum?

 

Just like last year, we’ll be organizing an event sponsored by our TripShock team and the Awkward Watersport Guys Podcast. It’s an opportunity to learn, connect with industry folks, and simply have a lot of fun. This event is organized by TripShock’s CEO, Greg Fisher, as well as his friend and colleague, Kevin O’Neil, Destiny Water Adventures’ CEO; given their job titles and the companies they founded, it’s a no-brainer that they know all the nitty-gritty details of the watersports industry! Who Should Attend?

 

If you run or work for a watersports business (e.g., boat tours and jet ski rentals), this forum is a must-go for growing your company. Our industry has been through a lot since 2020 and faces even more new challenges in 2022 and beyond. There are so many things to work on to make this year and next year successful, and sharing reflections on the season will be the center of the event. Everyone is welcome to join the conference; even if you don’t partner with us (why not, though?!), it can give you an idea of how fun we are at TripShock and how much we value our partners. Fisher claims, “This is not just another event for owners/operators, but those on the front lines that are looking to have a career in tours and watersports.” If you would like to participate as a speaker, roundtable host, workshop host, or panelist, apply with this form! Any Differences from Last Year’s Event?

 

Yes, last year’s attendees told us that one day wasn’t enough, so this year it will be a two-day conference, which means more opportunities to present, network, and, of course, have fun!
