How do I join TripShock?
Joining TripShock is easy. Just go to our partners website for more information and to fill out an application. You’ll typically hear from us within two business days regarding qualification.
Do you offer exclusivity for companies and/or product categories?
No. However, companies can maximize their exposure taking advantage of our featured placement opportunities. For more information please email [email protected].
Can I sell with other travel websites?
Yes, of course! You may sell with any other travel websites. We do, however, require price and inventory parity at all times. This means that TripShock must receive the same or improved ticket price/inventory as your other distribution channels.
Can I join if my business isn’t operational yet?
Yes. However, your enrollment will require your insurance documentation, banking info, and tax ID number. If you don’t have all of these yet, we recommend you wait to apply.
When will I meet the partner support department?
After your first listing is complete, the partner support department will reach out to you and introduce themselves. At that point, they will become your primary account contact.
Can I have variable commission rates?
TripShock’s commission rate is determined by your destination and product category. If your company offers multiple types of activities or operates in multiple destinations, please submit our application and then contact [email protected] so that we can review your products and discuss variable commission options. We cannot guarantee variable commission rates and each circumstance is considered on a case by case basis.
What if I don’t receive any response from the application after 2 days?
If you haven’t received a response within two days of submitting the application, please do the following…
- Check your spam folder in case the email didn’t make it into your inbox.
- If you still haven’t seen anything, please email [email protected] so that they can identify the issue and determine if the email was blocked by your server.
How soon will it take for my application to be approved?
Typically you will only have to wait about 2 business days for your application to be approved.
How long does it take to get setup and activated?
Onboarding has two portions. During the enrollment portion, you will complete a set of questionnaires that help us get to know your business and activities, as well as set up your partner account and banking information. This process can take as little as 1 hour, depending on the number of activities you want to add and the pace at which you complete each form.
Once you complete the form for your first activity, it takes 2-3 weeks for the listing to be built and go live. Once again, your promptness in responding to questions will have a great impact on the timeline. Once your listing is complete, you will get a chance to review it before it goes live.
Why can’t I get paid more frequently?
Due to the limitations of our current accounting solution, offering a shorter payment cycle is not possible. We hope to have an improved solution in the near future. Please reach out to the partner support department for updates.
